History
Robert Teske began studying martial arts with Judo in 1969 and started competing in 1970. He continued with Can Ryu Jiu Jitsu, Karate, Tae Kwon Do and Wing Chun Kung Fu. He has been teaching martial arts for over 30 years, having opened the Cumberland Martial Arts Academy in 1995. He has written several books and articles relating to martials arts. He has trained athletes at all levels as well as members of the Canadian Armed Forces, CSIS and Law Enforcement.
Robert Teske continues to be active teaching seminars and writing material on martial arts.
Presently, Robert Teske currently lives on Vancouver Island, British Columbia Canada.
